Navigating the grey of life

Life is a series of chapters. Some filled with immense joy and some filled with sadness. The highs of joy provides us with immense happiness and tranquillity and the lows of sadness bestows us with consideration, depth and moments of introspection. So how does one go about living and experiencing life fully? Its about taking life as a mixed bag and navigating the grey territory.

When dealing with situations, how does one decipher the right with the wrong? Is a particular action right based on the individual's perspective or is it right based on making the decision on a collective understanding of the situation or perhaps abiding by societal norms to please people? What if basing the decision on a collective understanding means 'neglecting' your own happiness in the process? How many situations arise in our lives when we have navigated this grey territory of our lives and we look back and thought maybe we could have done things differently? Perhaps our life would have looked different. Maybe we could have had a better understanding of ourselves and our decision making process.

As life unfolds, it teaches us lessons for us to grow, to learn from. But it is also important to always ask the question 'Is my life unfolding around me?' or 'Am I the creator of my own life and situations pertaining to it?'. Usually, the answer would be a mix of both.

What if you could predict how a situation is going to unfold? What if you could visualise your future? What if you could actively seek out to better your life and nurture it with happiness and contentment from within? What if your true sense of ambition comes out and brings harmony in your life? What if you could balance your intuition with logic in your understanding of situations and make better judgements and decisions? The power to do so actively channelizes your thought process and collectively gives you direction and ambition in life.

Do you go with rationality in understanding a situation or you go with emotion and follow your heart? The method that works for a particular person does not necessarily work for another. Some people choose to follow the heart whereas others choose to navigate the path of practicality. Some people live in their head whereas others live in their heart and no way is the right or wrong way. It all depends on your perspective and the way you are wired.

Living consciously and in clarity of your mind and heart helps in living a wholesome life. No living in the future and not living in the past but rather just living in the moment, in the present and putting the focus on continuously growing and expanding within as a human being and outside in the material world.
